Academic Community Edition Editor - Vascular Biology
About the Role:
We are seeking highly qualified academics to serve as Community Edition Editors for our growing publishing platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the discourse in the Vascular Biology field, mentor emerging scholars, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge. Our editors are responsible for sourcing and overseeing the submission to publication of 5 relevant manuscripts, alongside an original editorial piece to start the community edition.

Key Responsibilities:
- Editorial Leadership: Oversee the entire editorial process for a community edition, from soliciting submissions to final publication.
- Peer Review Management: Manage a rigorous peer review process, ensuring timely and constructive feedback, while maintaining high ethical values.
- Author Engagement: Foster a collaborative environment by providing guidance and support to authors.
- Content Quality: Maintain the highest standards of academic excellence and editorial integrity.
- Community Building: Connect with a diverse community of researchers and foster intellectual exchange.
Required Skills:
- Publication Record: Proven track record of publishing in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals.
- Editorial Experience: Experience in peer review management and manuscript editing.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Time Management: Effective time management skills to balance academic responsibilities with editorial duties.
Qualifications:
Academic Credentials: An advanced degree in a relevant field. (PhD, MD, etc)
Multiple Languages: All applicants must speak a minimum of English (Professional Fluency), however additional languages are desired in our mission for a more inclusive publishing process.
