Job Title: Video Editor / Post-Production Specialist

Location: Orlando, FL (Remote options available)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor / Post-Production Specialist to transform raw footage into engaging, polished content for Build Network TV. In this role, you will collaborate with our creative and production teams to craft high-quality videos that align with our brand’s vision and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Editing & Assembly:
- Edit raw video footage into compelling narratives for broadcast, digital platforms, and live events.
- Incorporate graphics, titles, transitions, and effects to enhance visual storytelling.
Post-Production Workflow:
- Collaborate with directors and producers to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency in color correction, sound design, and overall video quality.
Software & Technology:
- Utilize professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain efficient workflows.
Feedback & Quality Control:
- Implement feedback from creative stakeholders to refine edits and optimize content.
- Perform final quality checks before content delivery.
Archiving & Management:
- Organize digital assets and maintain an archive for future projects.
- Ensure all content is backed up and properly managed.

Requirements:

Proven experience in video editing and post-production, preferably in a media, digital, or streaming environment.
Strong proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
Excellent eye for detail, storytelling, and visual composition.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification in Film, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $45,000 to $70,000 per year

Salary is commensurate with experience and proficiency.
