The Social Media + Content Assistant will report to the PR Manager and will have a creative and active role in the planning and coordination of LaPointe’s social channels and strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own all social engagement and community building through a clear brand lens
- Own all social posting, collaborating closely with the Creative Director and Marketing Team on execution
- Oversee engagement and metrics, working closely with PR Manager on key potential collaborators
- Assistant PR Team in compiling reports with key learnings and themes in social trends from the LaPointe audience
- Establish weekly social content shoots for each social platform that align with brand messaging and voice
- Maintain and oversee social calendar and layout
- Assist PR Manager in ensuring that all collaboration deliverables are received and meet company standard
- Assist with shoots + production team in shoot prep, on set organization, and in post shoot asset management
- Assist PR Manager + Production freelancer on photoshoot shot lists, prep, and deck creation
- Stay aware of upcoming culture events and dates to best place LaPointe in the conversation
- Capture all BTS needs for Photoshoots, Fittings, Runway Shows, and Events
- Oversee Dropbox and asset organization
- Have a clear understanding of LaPointe product and seasonal messaging
- Capture content as well as be in content posted on LAPOINTE socials
Qualifications
- Ideal candidates have a strong understanding of the latest trends, social campaigns, and social media marketing within the luxury fashion space.
-Candidates must feel comfortable being the subject of social content
- Ideal candidates are creative thinkers, working to interpret social media through a specific brand lens, catered to a specific ethos
- Ideal candidates have prior experience in the luxury fashion space
- Ideal candidates have a strong visual branding eye, familiar with visual merchandising and color theory
- Proficiency in photo-editing software and photography
