About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Content Specialist with a passion for content strategy and writing. In this role, you will support the execution of our content strategy aimed at boosting organic search performance and enhancing our online visibility.

What You’ll Do
Content Creation & Optimization
- Write clear, engaging, and persuasive content for various formats, including but not limited to: blog posts optimized for SEO, email campaigns, YouTube scripts, landing pages, ad copy, study resources, case studies, data-driven studies...
- Optimize content for SEO by applying best practices in keyword integration, metadata, and internal linking with SEO team guidance.
- Help maintain a consistent and authentic brand voice across all content, working closely with senior team members.
- Assure compliance with state and federal regulations across website content based on guidelines provided.
Content Planning & Management
- Contribute to building and maintaining an editorial calendar that aligns with broader SEO initiatives.
- Drive the content publishing process—from drafting to final publication—and assist in tracking content performance at the URL level.
- Update and optimize existing content under guidance, ensuring adherence to current trends and SEO best practices.
SEO Strategy & Analytics
- Collaborate with the SEO and digital marketing teams to learn and assist in aligning content strategies with keyword research and organic search goals.
- Use SEO tools like Search Console and SEMRush to assist in monitoring performance, identifying trends, and implementing data-driven strategies under supervision.
- Develop an understanding of how to interpret analytics and use insights to recommend improvements to content strategy.
Collaboration & Continuous Learning
- Engage in testing, learning, and iterating on content formats and SEO tactics to help improve performance.
- Stay current with industry trends and evolving search engine algorithms by participating in internal training and external learning opportunities.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in marketing, copywriting, or content creation.
- Demonstrable writing or copywriting experience with a portfolio of published content available for review.
- A basic understanding of SEO principles is required—further training will be provided to help you refine your skills.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and high-quality content.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
- A collaborative team player with a willingness to contribute ideas and support projects under guidance.
Bonus Points If:
- You have a personal interest in healthcare or health training, or experience working in the industry.
- You have familiarity with content management systems (Webflow CMS) and SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
