Job Description: The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing creative content strategies and producing a wide range of marketing assets and collateral. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of current B2B content marketing trends, preferable in the HR tech arena. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing engaging content that drives brand awareness and engagement with a target audience in support of sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a content marketing strategy supporting the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research to understand the needs and interests of our target audience and create content that resonates with them.
Content Creation and Management:
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, omnichannel content for distribution for the company blog, whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, infographics, videos, and social media posts.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce content showcasing our industry expertise and thought leadership.
- Develop and manage the content calendar to ensure timely and consistent delivery of content across all channels.
SEO and Analytics:
- Implement best practices for search engines to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
- Use analytics tools to measure the performance of content and make data-driven decisions to improve engagement and conversion rates.
Content Distribution:
- Develop and execute content distribution plans to maximize reach and impact.
- Distribute content and leverage various channels, including the company website, email marketing, social media, and third-party platforms.
Brand Voice and Messaging:
- Ensure all content is consistent with the company’s brand voice, style, and messaging.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure cohesive and aligned messaging across all marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in a B2B software or technology environment.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing strategies.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Databox
- Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and/or video editing software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Wordpress (Elementor experience a plus) and marketing automation platforms.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
